My main problem is just getting a group. I will figure this out. I probably will do one of those RP things. I’m just having a lot of issues at the moment. But I am going to be OK. I will eventually get together a group, and I will be an alpha. Eventually, my phase will pass. I know it will. Thanks. If either one of you could help me out, I have an idea.

It would be kind of cool to have an email correspondent in all this. Like, someone who I can email back and forth with asking for Clique-related and other advice. I often need advice….

Honestly, my advice to you would be to not worry about finding “clique-worthy” friends and instead find a group of girls you feel you really connect with. Ones that you feel like you can truly be yourself around and telling anything to. I say this because a few years from now being the top clique and being alpha won’t matter at all. What will matter is if you have a few close friends who will be there for each other, who you can count on for support, and to just have those friendships. That doesn’t mean that you can’t do clique like activities like the PC did in the books though. You could still have Friday night sleepovers, mall trips, group messaging and video chats, or even rate each others outfits. As for your other friend, if she’s someone you truly want to be friends with and you value that friendship, then continue on with it. It’s perfectly fine to have more than one group of friends. I mean Alicia had Olivia and Claire had Layne. Just make you give her some of your time too.

As for your need to be Massie-like, have you ever thought of joining the Clique blogging community here on WordPress? You could become a Massie role player and create a Massie blog. Since you said you feel a need to be on top and even once tried to overthrow a clique at your school, that could be your story that you tell as Massie. You could even have your own online Pretty Committee as some girls on here blog together as a PC. There’s even AIM chatrooms just for us bloggers where we talk to each other using our character screen names. Think about it.

You could just do things like what the girls in The Clique do. You wouldn’t actually be putting together a Clique, but it would feel that way in the things you do. You’d be acting like The Clique girls but there would be no repercussions on your social life once you get over our clique phase. You could tell them that you just wanted a group of people to hang out with and do stuff with. You don’t need to tell them that you’ve been inspired by kinda bitchy (excuse my language) characters in a book to live your life like them. They can think that you just wanted to have sleepovers and stuff. Because really, that’s what the Pretty Committee does, except they add on attitude 😉
