I pretend to be strong, even when I’m not. I pretend to like people because I can’t come out and say I don’t. I fake smiles. I pretend not to be self-conscious. I pretend I don’t watch Disney Channel anymore (come on, who doesn’t?). I pretend I’m still a kid (I am at heart).
I pretend to be lots of things I’m not.
